Personal Typography Introduction
I interviewed 75 people on the street who have typefaces on their person (usually tee shirts) to understand how (and if) the shirt expresses who they are as a person. I asked them to think of 3 words to describe the fonts on their shirt. I then asked them if they see themselves as the words describing the fonts.
I ended with asking if the person considered themselves more an analytical person or a creative person. If the person answered that they were both analytical and creative, I have catagorized them as “Polyminded” for having both left-brained and right-brained tendencies.
In some of the interviews, the conversations went into different directions and I did not ask or did not get a direct answer to certain questions. These missing answers are represented with “…” and will be filled in later.
Each participant helped make this a very special project and I am greatly appreciative of everyone’s contributions. I met some very interesting people and had many conversations that have elated me beyond words.
